Steps required for registration:

Complete and submit the online registration – Application fee payment is required as part of the online application process.

Once the application is processed, if approved, GECDSB will issue the official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and the Letter of Accommodation. PDF copies of the documents will be emailed to the family’s primary email address or your service provider/agent (if applicable).

It is the student’s responsibility to apply for the Study Permit – Further information can be found at the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website, Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate in your home country.

Submit tuition and medical insurance fees – Details will be included in the invoice sent to the primary email address.

Once your Study Permit is approved please communicate this as soon as possible to the GECDSB International Program office at (It is the student’s responsibility to maintain a Valid Study Permit for the duration of attendance at a GECDSB school.)

Upon arrival to Canada you must attend your English and Mathematics skills assessment appointment at the Newcomer Reception Centre. Following the assessment, you will be directed to your designated school to register.
